Pliers that combine a ring opener and a PE line cutter into one.

The "AD Pliers RH" is a multifunctional plier that can be used for sleeve caulking and lure eye tune, in addition to the basic functions of pliers such as ring opener and hook removal. Especially when it comes to scissors, they are designed with a focus on the ease of cutting PE lines, which are the mainstream in lure fishing these days.

The secret to the ease of cutting PE lines lies in the combination of "scraping structure" and "serration blades". First of all, the "scraping structure" is a structure in which the blades are rubbed against each other and cut like a regular scissor. This is suitable for cutting fibers, so it goes well with PE lines. Compared to this, the "push-cut structure" that cuts the blades together is comparable, but as a result of verifying the compatibility with the PE line, the "AD Pliers RH" adopted a more compatible "scraping structure".

Next is the "serration blade", which is a blade with a jagged finish. This processing makes the PE line less slippery between the two blades. Combined with the "scraped structure" that makes it easy to break the fibers, it is easy to cut PE lines.

Next, the ring opener at the tip is #1 to #5サイズのスプリットリングに対応します. This is a size that is often used for sea bass and flounder lures, and is characterized by being able to be used at an angle that is easy to work with.

The AD Pliers RH is also equipped with two eye tuners of different sizes. If you accidentally hit the lure into the structure, or if the lure stops swimming straight, you can easily and quickly adjust it.

The locking parts that can be opened and closed quickly are designed to be operated with one hand. If you hold the pliers with your right hand, you can use your thumb to lock the opening and closing with one touch. Even if one hand is blocked by a fish grip, we aimed for a structure that is easy to use.

The AD Pliers RH also has a fluorinated type that is more resistant to rust. These pliers are originally made of stainless steel, which is resistant to rust, but by fluorinating, they are even more rust-resistant. The image above shows fluorination on the left. The right is without fluorination. In both cases, pliers were left soaked in seawater for 10 days to verify how much the rust changed over time. You can see that the fluorinated ones are more resistant to rust. Especially for those who intend to use it in salt games, we recommend the fluorinated type.
