In recent years, the diversification of topwater plugs in offshore casting games has made it easier to find strategies. However, in conditions where factors like high water temperatures or stagnant currents prevent fish from reaching the surface, it’s not uncommon for topwater techniques to become ineffective.
Taking these conditions into account, the newly revamped "Blue Sniper Boat Series," which has been fully renewed after 10 years, features three types—"FLX-Flex," "TRQ-Torque," and "RGD-Rigid"—with a total of seven models. These have been developed to meet the demands of the current boat casting scene.
"FLX-Flex": A model specialized in natural lure movement with minimal resistance, featuring a flexible tip and belly that greatly enhance the operability of the lure.
"TRQ-Torque": A model designed to handle even the personal best fish with confidence, featuring a rod with both durability and power, allowing for comfortable long-duration fights while keeping the rod in an upright position.
"RGD-Rigid": A model specialized in handling lures with higher drag, such as poppers, minnows, and jigs, enabling effective range control with a new conceptual design.
BlueSniper 76/4 RGD-Mode
This is a highly versatile model that not only covers top water games but also for use with large minnows with heavy water resistance and jig-heads to target rock-fish. In contrast to the flexible tip, the belly to butt section has ample resilience giving it a sharp casting feel and easily lift large targets from the depths. The light operability of this short length rod covers a wide range of situations and targets regardless of the size of the boat.
BlueSniper 79/5 RGD-Mode
With the high resilience of the blank, this highly responsive model will convert the smallest input from the angler to overwhelming output pressure towards the fish. With the sharp casting feel, anglers will be able to cast overhead or undercast diving pencils, poppers and sinking lures and maneuver them with swift action of the rod. In tough situations of seasonal patterns and glassed out water, this cutting-edge rod will bring about new approaches for anglers to attract and intentionally maneuver the lure for that rare bite.
BlueSniper 83/6 FLX-Mode
The flexible tip and belly section will drastically reduce lure maneuvering errors while the outstanding butt power will assist anglers when fighting your large targets. Although the blank flexibly bends in, the quick repulsive force allows for great casting distance. This rod is the next generation standard model for boat casting that embodies the concept of "bending and catching" by Yamaga Blanks.
BlueSniper 81/8 FLX-Mode
In order to control the large kingfish lurking in the rapids + shallows + around rough reefs and the harsh yellowtail tuna game in the summer, we have created a powerful blank that combines outstanding castability and comfortable operability of large lures and small mouthed poppers. Depending on the target and angler style, this model will adapt to your needs when fighting the fish, stopping the fish, and lifting the fish off the bottom or rocks to successfully land your trophy.
BlueSniper 81/10 TRQ-Mode
This rod is a high-powered model for use with PE10 to go against large yellowfin tuna and bluefin tuna. It combines accurate casting performance and outstanding operability of pencils and small mouthed poppers, which is hard to imagine from powerful blank. The torque-filled butt power will gently bend in for anglers to be able to consistently apply pressure towards the monstrous tuna in the deep while reducing the load on the angler.
